this month's theme:
This month, your child will learn new ways to make friends, talk to friends, be respectful of differences and express their feelings. Watch for exciting art to come home throughout the week. Take time to ask why and how your child made the projects. Your child will also bring home games and books. Play and read together. The month is full of discovery, communication and friendship.
BIBLICAL FOCUS:
This month, we are exploring the powerful story of David and Goliath. We'll learn how even when we feel small and scared, God is with us. Through crafts, games, and Bible stories, we'll discover that God cares about our feelings and gives us the strength to face any giant! Our Memory Verse this month is Isaiah 43:5 "Do not be afraid; for I am with you!"

A LETTER FROM OUR DIRECTOR
Dear RCA Parents,
We're so excited to welcome the fall season! This is my favorite time of year, and we can't wait to share the joy and beauty of autumn with your little ones. Our monthly theme for September is "Friends and Feelings." Throughout the month, we'll focus on fostering positive friendships, teaching children the importance of being a good friend, and helping them express their feelings in healthy ways.

Please note that we will be closed on September 2nd to celebrate Labor Day.
We're also excited to announce our onsite Scholastic Book Fair, which will be held in the RCA Cafe from September 3rd through the 6th. This is a great opportunity to stock up on books for your child's reading library, while helping RCA purchase new books for our school!
On September 6th, we're hosting a grandparent's day GRAND Tea Party from 2-3 PM. This is a wonderful chance for grandparents to spend quality time with their grandchildren and see what we have going on at RCA. Please RSVP by September 3rd if your child's grandparents plan to attend.
Lastly, we will have a special fall picture day on September 19th with Emily Gibbs of Eloquent Designs. We're incredibly excited to be working with Emily, whose beautiful and timeless photos capture the essence of childhood. Her ability to create lasting memories is truly remarkable. Please dress your child in their best fall outfits for this special occasion.
